The first pictures are of my fish room with the orignal racking seen on the left and the new racking to the rear. The Main rack is 3.00m in length and 1.80m High housing 4 tanks per section. The Room is heated by a 3kw Heater (though only on half power),with various lighting used dependant on the racks.90% of the tanks are run by Interpet Undergravel filters from two independent (1+1 Redundency) Hailea Piston Air pumps giving 145 Litres output. Each tank has at least 1 input from each of the air pumps so as to keep the filter s running in the event of failure. The room is kept at around 28Deg C which keeps the tanks at a perfect rate of around 25Deg C.

The majority of the breeding tanks are 0.91m in length and the holding tanks being 0.6m in length. The use of bigger tanks is being planned once the RIO300 have been
removed and sold off. The feeds for the Air is pumped round Marley Pipes at the the rear of each shelf, then drilled and fed out via 6mm line to the filter uptakes. (these can be clearly seen at the rear tops of the tanks).

The racking to the left of this picture has now been used to house my Carrying female and fry tanks, the unit being capable of holding 16 tanks on it, be it Glass or the tubs I use for exapanding quickly if need be but being storable afterwards when not in use. These tanks have Lighting made up of T5 strip lights per shelf.
